Privacy policy
What this site collects, what it does not, and how Google uses cookies for the advertisements.
Last changed: 2026-11-04
This page says what happens to your information when you use https://json.shipfy.in. It is written to be read, not to be hidden behind long sentences.
The short answer
The documents you open never reach us. The tool runs inside your browser. Your JSON is read, formatted, searched and compared on your own machine. No part of it is sent to this site, and we cannot see it, store it or recover it.
We do collect the ordinary information that a web site and its advertisements collect. The rest of this page says what that is.
What stays in your browser
The tool keeps a few things on your own machine, so the page behaves as you left it. None of this reaches us.
| What | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The last document you opened | IndexedDB | So a reload does not lose your work |
| The theme, light or dark | localStorage | So the page looks the same next time |
| A few switches, such as the indent | localStorage | The same reason |
Clear the site data in your browser, or press Clear in the tool, and all of it is gone.
What the server records
The site is a set of static files on a hosting service. Like every web server, it records a short line for each request: the address of the page, the time, the kind of browser, and the IP address the request came from. The hosting service keeps these lines for a short time to run and protect the service. We use them only to see which pages people read and to find faults.
Measurement
We may use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which guides people find useful. Analytics sets cookies and records an IP address, which Google shortens. It does not receive your JSON, because your JSON never leaves your browser. You can refuse these cookies in the consent window, and you can stop them in your browser settings.
Advertisements
This site shows advertisements so that the tool can stay free.
- Google, as a third-party supplier, uses cookies to show advertisements on this site.
- Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show advertisements to you based on your visit to this site or to other sites.
- You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's advertisement settings.
- You can turn off some other suppliers at aboutads.info.
- Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Third-party suppliers may also place their own cookies. We do not control those cookies, and we do not receive the data they collect.
The advertisements never see your JSON. The advertisement code runs in the page, but the document you open is held in a separate worker and is never put into the page address, a cookie or a request.
Your choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent window asks you before any advertising or measurement cookie is set. You can change your answer at any time with the link in the page footer.
If you are in California, you may ask us not to sell or share your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To limit what the advertisement partners receive, refuse the advertising cookies in the consent window.
Children
This site is a tool for people who write software. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Because the tool keeps no account and no document, there is normally nothing to show you. Write to hello@shipfy.in and we will answer.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that matters will also be shown in the tool.
